Helping Hands

Volunteering
One of our barbers from our grooming team had reached out to a handful of shelters because he felt compelled to give back. Mark introduced himself and offered his services and the Harford Family House was ecstatic to hear from him because they help people with job placement and they needed to get cleaned up with proper haircuts and trim for their upcoming interviews.

Two weeks ago when he was there, 2 of the 10 people he saw were a mother and daughter who had been cutting each others hair due to their situation. He not only cut their hair but I showed them how to cut each other's hair if they were in a pinch.

There was another gentleman who had a beard trimmer so he told him to go get it, and he taught him how to trim his beard and make it look even.
Mark has now made this a regular 6 to 8 week practice to visit and offer this service for whomever the current residents happen to be at the moment. He knows he is making an impact already but his goal is to hear that he helped someone land a job. Mark works at both locations and you book a service with him
here.

Another barber on the team, Dermaine also volunteers in giving haircuts to those in shelters or in a tough spot. We wanted to give a shout out to both of these barbers who are offering a "helping hand".
