Update as of Thursday 18th: Elevator is back up and running

The elevator is currently getting a full overhaul today. If you hear weird noises from the elevator shaft, that is what is going on.  They are updating several parts while they are here which include brand new cables and guides.  This job is so big that it will take two days to perform. Our hope is that it will be fully operational by Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately you will no longer be able to rely on us for your steps. We have one staff member that realized that he had stepped the equivalent of a marathon over the last two weeks.  We also apologize that you will no longer be able to admire our break and laundry rooms. 

Update on our other hobbling member.  Rusty is out of the hospital and is on the mend. He will need some time to get back to 100% and we want to give him the space to fully recover.  You will see him start to ease back over the next two weeks. We are very thankful for all of your thoughts and prayers for his full recovery.  Internally we are super relieved to know he is on the mend.
